Last month, we held our first exchange and consultation meeting with all our partner villages and the local authorities in Senegal.

Throughout the day, which was shaped by a theatre play called “Besoin de toi”, there was one key message: cooperation. Ecosystem restoration is only possible if we work together. As Hommes et Terre we cannot restore ecosystems on our own. Sustainable recovery is only possible through close cooperation with our partner villages and the local authorities, and the commitment of all those involved. After this dynamic first meeting, we look forward to seeing our partnerships only grow stronger and to seeing more and more people getting involved in the fight against ecosystem degradation.
